Flag Day

The kidlets got to attend a flag day ceremony. Some members of on of the legion were there to raise the flag. During the flag raising the kids sung The Star Spangeled Banner.
After the kids went back inside the members of the legion needed to lower the flag, attatch the Iowa flag and then reraise it. I was very moved to see them salute the flag on the way down and back up the flagpole.
