Interviews

I saw this on Barn Raising and just had to borrow it. I added the dad questions to make it fair to both parents involved. This was a really fun activity to do. Chip kept asking, "What is this all about?" LOL

What is something your mom always says to you?

Sweet: Do your work.
Dill: Stop shouting.
Chip: Don't hit your brother and sister.

What is something your dad always says to you?

Sweet: Find me the remote.
Dill: Stay out of it.
Chip: Don't hit your brother and sister.

What makes your mom happy?

Sweet: When we do our work right.
Dill: When we do what she says.
Chip: When she gets home and the house is clean.

What makes your dad happy?

Sweet: When the house is clean
Dill: To have the house clean.
Chip: When I get along with my brother and sister.

What makes your mom sad?

Sweet: When we don't do our work.
Dill: When we don't listen to her.
Chip: When the house is even worse than when she left.



What makes your dad sad?

Sweet: I don't know. I've never seen him upset before except angry upset.
Dill: To have the house dirty or not do what he says.
Chip: When I don't get along with my brother and sister.

How does your mom make you laugh?

Sweet: By telling me the wrong thing... thats what makes me laugh.
Dill: By killing things she tries to make.
Chip: By saying something funny.

How does your dad make you laugh?

Sweet: Telling funny jokes.
Dill: When we have fun like playing The Legend of Zelda
Chip: Telling me a story about when he was a kid.

What did your mom like to do when she was a child?

Sweet: I don't really know.
Dill: Visit her grandma and grandpa.
Chip: Write poetry.

What did your dad like to do when he was a child?
Sweet: Play outside.
Dill: Play Ninja Gaiten on the NES
Chip: Make trouble.

How old is your mom?

Sweet: 38
Dill: 38
Chip: 38 or 39

Sweet: 43 or 42. I think he is 43.
Dill: 43 or 44.
Chip: 40 something

Sweet: 5'5"

What is your mom's favorite thing to do?

Sweet: Do activities with us.
Dill: School work.
Chip: Write on the blog.

What is your dad's favorite thing to do?

Sweet: Lately it's been working at the Sokol building.
Dill: Watch cable.
Chip: Solving hard problems.

What does your mom do when you're not around?

Sweet: Clean or check her email.
Dill: Clean the house and watch food network.
Chip: I don't know. Clean up the house. Have a t-bone steak. Makes rice krispie treats.

What does your dad do when you're not around?

Sweet: How am I supposed to know that?
Dill: Clean.
Chip: Watch tv, clean up the house, sleep

If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for?

Sweet: Being the best mommy in the world.
Dill: For discovering death by school work.
Chip: Writing in her blog.

If your dad becomes famous, what will it be for?

Sweet: The best daddy and best accountant in the whole entire universe.
Dill: For noticing premature death by Sokol.
Chip: Becoming an accountant who is good at what he does.

What is your mom really good at?

Sweet: Homeschooling.
Dill: Being a teacher.
Chip: Being creative.

What is your dad really good at?

Sweet: Accounting
Dill: Being an accountant.
Chip: Working with numbers.

What is your mom not very good at?

Sweet: Singing.
Dill: Video games.
Chip: Working with numbers.

What is your dad not very good at?

Sweet: Singing
Dill: Being uncritical
Chip: Being creative.

What does your mom do for her job?

Sweet: Prints out and gets school work for us.
Dill: Teaches.
Chip: Throw M&M's at her kids.

Sweet: He counts money and adds it all together.
Dill: Being an accountant.
Chip: He annylizes problems and computer programs.

What is your mom's favorite food?

Sweet: Yogurt Parfait
Dill: That one sandwich you get at Panera.
Chip: T-bone steak

Sweet: Lasagna
Dill: I don't know...he likes alot.
Chip: Depends on what night it is.

What makes you proud of your mom?

Sweet: She lets me be in gymnastics.
Dill: When she's nice.
Chip: When she teaches me something hard.

What makes you proud of your dad?

Sweet: He helps me when I need help and he works at the Sokol building for me.
Dill: When he's nice.
Chip: When he says something he doesn't have to.

Sweet: Minnie Mouse
Dill: The wife on The Pickles Sunday comics.

Sweet: Lapbooks
Dill: School work.

Sweet: We both like curly hair.
Dill: We both good at math.
Chip: We are both creative.

Sweet: Our eye color.
Dill: We're both smart.
Chip: We are both bad at spelling.

How are you and your mom different?

Sweet: She has short hair and I have long hair.
Dill: Mommy's tall.
Chip: She's good at spelling, I'm bad at spelling.

Sweet: I'm a girl, he's a boy and I'm a child, he's a grown up.
Dill: Daddy isn't grounded from everything he owns.
Chip: He's good at math, I'm bad at math.

How do you know your mom loves you?

Sweet: She says it all the time.
Dill: She says so.
Chip: Because she puts up with me all the time.

Sweet: He always says so.
Dill: He says so.

Sweet: His personality.
Dill: I don't know.

Sweet: Her pretty hair and she loves him.

Are we corputing our children with wanting the house to be clean or what? I didn't know we were such neat freaks.
I like being Minnie Mouse and Wilma Flintsotne but I just might take offense to being the wife in the Pickle's comic...lol.

*LOL!!!* I want to come over next time the kids are gone and you break out the t-bone steaks and the Rice Krispie treats! I wouldn't mind being around when you start throwing M&Ms, too.
