Our Week in Review

Fall is a magical time in these parts. One day is gorgeous, the next cold. Rainy and sunny. Indian Summer. Turning, falling, raking and burning leaves. Crisp mornings, warm afternoons and chilly nights. Halloween. Sweet's birthday. Thanksmas. Magical is all I can say.

We are busy as ever. We run from here to there and fit schooling in whenever possible. Often times schooling doesn't come in the form of bookwork, especially this time of year.

This week consisted of homemade apple crisp, toaster oven s'mores, chili dogs, trail mix, CAP, gymnastics, carpet cleaning, Parkour, quality time with family and the first running of the furnace.

Preparation for Halloween has also been in full swing with trips to and from Goodwill, the attic and the garage. The yard is a graveyard, the tree is ready for a good hanging and the steps don pumpkins and scarecrows. Costumes are almost ready and anticipation is running high.

And we can't forget the countdown chain to Sweet's birthday. Each morning she tears off another loop. Only five days till the event.

I hope you enjoyed your week as much as we enjoyed ours.
