Monday's Happenings

Cool's surgery was this morning. Nothing like rushing to go to a place you really don't want to go to on a Monday morning. He is home and sleeping right now. The surgery went as expected with no complications. He is on crutches and can't drive for two weeks. But that is OK because he is home. :)

Chip has gym class tonight and is spending the night with my mom and dad because they live so close to the gym. Dill and Sweet came home with us this afternoon. Dill has been playing Zelda and studying the laptop closely. Sweet is across the street playing with the girls who live there. I took a nap. Nothing like spending the morning waiting in a hospital to knock the wind completely out of you.

I just through a banana cake in the oven. I am going to make some vanilla pudding to top it and slice some bananas on top. I am feeling frisky and might even top it with some pecans. :)

Cool has requested tacos for supper. Going to have Spanish rice and refried beans with it.

Other than that, life is pretty well even keel. Life is good and we are enjoying every minute of it.
