During our Chinese New Year study we a lot of oranges. A WHOLE BUNCH! Well, one day I remembered something I saw in one of my science books and decided to try it out. It was a good way to put those orange rinds to use.
What we did was quarter the orange and eat the orange out of the rind. This was the good and sweet part.
Then the picklets looked at a world map and drew the flat world onto the orange rind.
Voila, the world on an orange.
Chip tried to hot glue the orange together to have a globe but it didn't work.
Dill, always marching to the beat of a different drummer, sees the world in a different eye. This could explain the conversation we had during this project.
It was a fun geography project.
